LASER DENTISTRY

Laser dentistry involves using lasers to treat various dental diseases. Laser dentistry can offer a more comfortable treatment option for several dental procedures involving hard or soft tissue compared to drills and other non-laser tools. LASER stands for “light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation”. The instrument produces light energy in a very narrow, focused beam. When this laser light hits the tissue, it triggers a reaction that allows it to be removed or reshaped.
